About GreenSoft
An independent developer building utility sites with AI assistance, documenting what it takes to launch and distribute software for a global audience.
GreenSoft is a software index and download platform. We turn desktop and mobile apps scattered across the web into a directory you can search and compare, and we complete security scanning and version verification before anything is listed.
The site is maintained by one person. From data curation and layout design to programming, most of the work is done with AI assistance and then checked and corrected item by item by hand. We want to show that a small team can still ship something clean, trustworthy and not funded by pop-up ads.
The site is also a public experiment log: writing down, as clearly as possible, how an independent developer builds a software site that can be found in search and trusted by readers.
